Yoga for Men

My wife wants me to lose weight. So I started going to the gym during weekday lunch time by myself. For weekday evenings, I go to the 24 Hour Fitness Gym with my brothers. For weekend evenings, I go to the 24 Hour Fitness Gym with my wife.

It has been about 2 months and so far I lost about 10pounds. I used to weight about 203pounds and now 193pounds. I definitely sit front of computer too much and that is why it is so difficult to lose my abdominal fat. The yellow parts would be where abdominal fats get stored for men.



I am glad that I started the workout program couple months ago and I hope I can keep it up.

One of classes I attend at the gym is a yoga class. It really helps me a lot with my lower back pain and being flexible. It will give me muscles but I need flexibility more than muscles at this point of my life.
If you have a chance to try Yoga, then you should try it. You will feel calm and feel the control of your muscles again, if you are a stiff like me.

I will try to research and update more on Yoga for Men. For now, I will end this post with two thumbs up that you should definitely try yoga if you are:
  • trying to lose weight
  • trying to improve balance and obtain proper posture
  • trying to relieve your work/physical stress and calm yourself with better breathing
  • trying to improve your mental concentration
  • trying to be flexible
