Yay for AT&T Fusion Prepaid Android GoPhone

Yay! I ordered few days ago AT&T Fusion Prepaid Android GoPhone from Walmart online (http://www.walmart.com/ip/AT-T-U8652-FUSION-Android-Prepaid-GoPhone-Blue/17812999) and it is finally here. Walmart is selling it for $110 (Amazon sells it for $125) and you can get it free shipping if you pick it up from the store. I will switch out the GoPhone's SIM card and replace it with my SIM card from old AT&T phone. There were many positive reviews about AT&T Fusion Prepaid Android GoPhone. I will try to root it and try to over-clock it, if it is easy to do. Here are some technical specs of AT&T Fusion Prepaid Android GoPhone.

  • Android 2.3 Operating System
  • Access to AT&T Wi-Fi Hot Spots
  • Personal and Corporate Email
  • 3.2MP Camera with Video Recorder
  • AT&T Navigator for turn-by-turn voice and on-screen driving directions
  • Size (LWH): 4.57 inches, 2.38 inches, 0.47 inches
  • Weight: 4.16 ounces
  • Network Compatibility: GSM
  • Phone Book Capacity: 100 Entries
  • Minimum Rated Talk Time: 542 minutes
  • Minimum Rated Standby Time: 648 hours
  • Battery Type: Lithium Ion

I will block the data usage and set up Wi-Fi to access the web from home and work. I don't need to access the 3G/4G-LTE network when I am on the road. So this is perfect deal for me. I read that AT&T Avail Prepaid Andorid GoPhone is better than Fusion, but I think I am ok with Fusion. I will pick up the phone tonight and try to review it again.
