Dead Batteries!

Recycle your batteries.

Batteries (for an example, Energizer 2032 Battery CR2032 Lithium 3v (1 Pack of 5) )  are categorized as Universal Waste, making them hazardous and illegal to throw away in your garbage. So contact your waste management company for more info on how to recycle them!

You can probably find few ways to recycle these hazardous batteries.

• Curbside Recycling - Placed used batteries in a zip-lock plastic bag and put it on top of nlue Recycle Cart
• Door-to-Door HHW Program - Call to schedule a pick up of your dead batteries
• Shoreway Environmental Center - Free drop off of household batteries and cell phones!
