Man, 70, has 10cm steel kitchen fork removed from inside his PENIS after sexual adventure goes wrong

• Doctors from Canberra, Australia,  have published a case in which an elderly man 'lost' and entire piece of cutlery inside his body
• Man underwent general anaesthetic and surgeons used forceps traction and 'copious lubrication' to remove the foreign body
• Was discharged shortly afterwards and was left with no long-term damage

Doctors have removed a 10cm long steel fork from inside a man’s penis, after a sexual adventure went horribly wrong.
The 70-year-old visited Canberra Hospital’s emergency department complaining of bleeding genitalia.
He then promptly admitted that he had inserted a piece of cutlery into his urethra in an attempt to pleasure himself.
Unfortunately the attempt backfired and it became stuck, leaving him in considerable pain. Despite this, it took him 12 hours to pluck up the courage to seek medical help.
The fork was so firmly lodged inside the man's body that doctors could not initially see the cause of the discomfort, according to the report in The International Journal of Surgery.
However, once it had been located, ‘multiple retrieval methods were contemplated with success achieved via forceps traction and copious lubrication.’


The procedure was successful and the elderly man was sent home with no long-term damage.
According to the article, entitled ‘An Unusual Urethral Foreign Body’, it is very rare to find alien objects lodged in the lower urinary tract.
But, it said, many unexpected objects have been retrieved from other parts of the body.
These include toothbrushes, pencils, allen keys, plastic cups, light bulbs, thermometers, plants and vegetables, leeches, snakes, wax and glue.
Doctors Krishanth Naidu, Maurice Mulcahy and Amanda Chung said they chose to publish the unusual case 'to create discussion among the medical fraternity given the great management challenge faced by the oddity and infrequency with which a fork is encountered in the penile urethra'.
The added that the motives for inserting objects into such a sensitive region were difficult to comprehend.
According to the report, in a series of 20 adult cases over 9 years, foreign body insertions into the lower urinary tract have a low incidence, with men 1.7 times more likely to engage in the behaviour than women.
They said that practice tends to occur 'during states of pathological masturbation, substance abuse and intoxication'.
In most cases embarrassed patients attempted to retrieve the item themselves, risking injury and foreign body migration.
The real danger was infection leading to death, because ashamed patients often delay medical treatment, they said.
Doctors generally try to avoid surgery in such situations, instead choosing an option that would minimise trauma and preserve erectile function.
According to the report, typical symptoms after having inserted a foreign object into the male urethra include lower abdominal pain, penile pain, swelling of glans or body of penis, inflammation of the urethra, dyspareunia (pain during sex), blood-stained urine, pyuria (pus in urine), increased urinary frequency, inability to urinate and fever.

This news just came across my friend's Facebook posting.

A happy family, shattered in the blink of an eye, leaving behind only an older daughter who had just finished her high school entrance exams and whose grades aren’t bad, as well as a 6-year-old younger daughter who barely understands the meaning of the word “tragedy”.         

This tragedy happened two nights ago around 8;30pm, in the underground parking garage of Ningbo Fenghua Yangguang Mingdu Community.

The accident happened at night at about 8:35 pm.

 According to the community residents, this is how the tragedy happened:

The husband himself got out of the car to guide her [in backing up], walked to the rear end of the car, and suddenly, with a roar of the throttle, the Lexus reversed at high speed, and pinned the husband who was standing between the rear door of the car and the garage wall as he gave a loud cry.

Hearing her husband’s scream, the wife at the steering wheel promptly opened the car door, stuck her body out to see [what happened], and saw her husband pinned there.

Panicking, she planned to drive the car forward, but perhaps because of of being too panicked, the car’s transmission gear lever was still in reverse, not forward.

When the gas pedal was finally pressed, it ended the lives of the two–Instead of moving forward, the car continued to back up.

The husband was crushed even tighter, while the wife’s head which she had stuck out of the car was also caught between the car door and the garage wall…

And during that time, their 6-year-old younger daughter was right in the car.

Very sad! Driving is not a right! It is a privilege! So be very very careful when you are driving!

May 8th, 6 Hainan province Wanning city Houlang Elementary School 6th grade schoolgirls collectively went missing, causing an extreme panic amongst the teachers and their parents. Today [May 13], reporters have learned that these 6 elementary school girls had been taken to hotel rooms by Wanning City No.2 Elementary School headmaster Chen Moupeng and Wanning City government staff worker Xiao Zhong. At present, the two of them have already been arrested by the police.

May 8th, when 6 Hainan province Wanning city Houlang Elementary School 6th grade schoolgirls collectively went missing, it caused an extreme panic amongst teachers and their parents, who spent the whole night searching for them everywhere but without success; It was not until the night of May 9th at 11pm that one of the girls was found at the home of her relatives in Haikou, and the other 3 girls found at a rental house in Haikou Chengxi Town. According to the schoolgirl who fled to Haikou, the remaining 2 girls were in Wanning. After the parents rushed back to Wanning from Haikou, it was not until the morning of the 10th at 10am that they found the other 2 girls at the Mapo Dazhou Island Holiday Mountain Villa in Wanning Changfeng Town.

When these 6 girls were found, they all looked out of sorts/in a daze, and some of the girls had bruises on their arms and necks. Through hospital examination, the 6 girls’ private parts had been harmed to different degrees. Where did the 6 girls spend the night on the night of the 8th? According to the investigation of Wanning police, assisted by Haikou police, on the night of the 8th, 4 of the girls checked into two rooms at the Wangning Lvchun Garden Hotel. It could be seen from the surveillance video that Wanning City No.2 Elementary School Headmaster Chen Moupeng entered one of the rooms at night, but came out from another room the next morning. The other 2 girls spent two nights at the Dazhou Island Holiday Mountain Villa, where the other man named Xiao Zhong spent a night with them.

As it is understood, on May 11th, Wanning police summoned Chen Moupeng and Xiao Zhong for investigation. It was learned that Xiao Zhong is a member of the a certain government work unit in Wanning City, and has already been taken into custody by the police.

At present, the case is still under further investigation by the police.

From Xinhua.net Guangxi Channel May 6 news, a girl not yet 13 years old and still in 6th grade invited her classmate to her home and murdered her, hacking off her head and arms and bagging them out of resentment of her being prettier than herself. Recently, Guangxi Hechi City Intermediate People’s Court pronounced its final judgment: The defendant’s parents is to compensate the plaintiff 108,000 yuan for all sorts of expenses.

As it’s written in the court’s judgement, the 13-year-old girl surnamed Zhou studied at Nandan County Lihu Yao Ethnicity Village Renguang Elementary School, where she and the less-than-13-year-old girl surnamed Qin were classmates in 6th grade. They were good friends, and their families were neighbors on the same street, their houses less than 150 meters away from each other. Qin became envious of Zhou and started to hate her because her classmates liked to play with Zhou and used to say that she was fat and was not as pretty as Zhou.

The judgement shows that on the evening of 2012 April 10, Qin invited Zhou over to play. After Zhou arrived at Qin’s home and while the two were watching TV, Qin smashed a wooden stool over Zhou’s head and knocked her unconscious as Zhou was playing with her cell phone with her head down. For fear of Zhou telling teachers and parents upon regaining consciousness, she assaulted Zhou with a kitchen knife, a beer bottle, a paper knife, a pair of scissors and other murder instruments she found at home, causing Zhou to die at the scene. Then Qin even chopped off Zhou’s head and arms, put them into plastic bags, and cleaned the blood from the scene of the crime.

Guangxi Police determined that the defendant Qin committed intentional homicide [murder], but because she has not reached the age of 14 when she was committed the crime, she would not be held criminally liable in accordance with the law, and that Qin would be rehabilitated for 3 years. Zhou’s parents filed a lawsuit in court, where the Guangxi Nandan County People’s Court ruled that in addition to the 10,000 yuan that Qin’s parents had already compensated the plaintiff, they must compensate the plaintiff another 98,000 yuan. Zhou’s parents were unsatisfied, and appealed.

Recently, the Guangxi Hechi City Intermediate People’s Court’s final judgment affirmed the original judgment.
